MEET ONE OF B&C'S FAVORITE DRIVERS!
Individualistic in·di·vid·u·al·ism /ˌindəˈvij(o͞o)əˌlizəm/ noun the habit or principle of being independent and self-reliant.
Al George

Al is the most veteran driver we have in our fleet, but he has also done a lot more to earn a living than driving which he was originally introduced to between para shoot jumps while in the Army during the 1970s. When he retired from the service he was, among other things, a lineman for the telephone company, a building inspector, a plumber, and an industrial chemical distributor before becoming a professional driver in 2000.
Al may the oldest driver in the fleet, but there is no one that can outpace him. He takes to heart the adage that everyone is making money if the truck keeps moving. He is accident-free his entire time working for us which includes well over a million miles. Among other things, Al is a master trip planner. He likes to minimize his intelligence, but we know and have seen what he is capable of.
When asked what his motto is for life, Al responded with “Strive to be the best.” He has succeeded as he is one of the best drivers in the nation, and we can only hope he wants to continue driving for us for many years to come.
